General Bio:
Vi was hardly the daughter of these two powerful beings in Equestria. Yes, she's perfected magic and is as smart as a fox, but she's different. Her ways were based on if Twilight never understood true friendship. Thus, Vi was just like her mother and even her father once were. Vi was alone and snappy because she hadn't given friendship many chances. And with her parents being saviors of Equestria, she has some big shoes to fill.

Vi was always expected to end up as kind, majestic, and powerful as the ones who conceived her. She did end up becoming powerful, but lacked the grace and pleasure to help. She became self-absorbed into her studies, since she herself expected to live up to her parents' names. She works hard in achieving her goals, and her goals only. But Twilight and Sunburst didn't want their daughter to lock herself away and waste her life like this.

Her parents tried introducing her to the heirs of The Elements. Of course, they all didn't hesitate to be her friend. Vi didn't like any of them at first. She has a bad habit of basing ponies on their appearance and maybe their behavior. She wasn't used to ponies so loud. But she attached onto them quickly. Vi began to actually enjoy being with other ponies. She even began speaking to her younger siblings, who she used to shut out.

Vi had practically transformed. Instead of her typical sarcastic behavior towards others, she was cheerful. She developed all kinds of new hobbies: building, painting, writing, gardening. All thanks to her new friends. She's learned how to be a better pony. Practically worthy of alicorn-hood. This was the question. But Vi didn't want it. Becoming an alicorn was something that would change who she was. And unlike Twilight, she didn't want to change much anymore. Vi is happy with her friends, and happy to play her part. She may still be snappy at times, but she's a lot more approachable and caring.

Relationships
Since Vi was caught up in her studies, she didn't have a great relationship with her parents. They were a little possessive and tried to get her to make friends, which obviously did work. Now she treats her parents like most ponies do. They still have their little arguments, but they love each other to bits. Vi prefers Twilight over Sunburst, and spends more time with her mother. She knows Sunburst prefers her younger siblings anyway.

Vi adores her aunt and uncle, Queen Cadence and King Shining Armor. They always knew that Vi's attitude would turn around but didn't pressurize it as much. They always send her gifts and pay visits. For a short time, she liked them over her parents. They helped her with her silly troubles and helped enroll her into Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns.

Vi is a little distant from her younger sisters, Velvetstreak and Dawner Sparkle. They don't see each other often because of Vi's absence. The two prefer to be with their cousin, Flurry Heart. This leads to Vi being a little salty towards her cousin.

Vi is the closest to Gentil Cœur and Monotone out of all the royals. The trio often take walks in the park and do crafts together. They generally do rather childish things with each other, but they don't care. They used to prank ponies, but Celestia ordered it to stop. The trio are the more popular royals.

She is probably closest to Redlove out of all the Mane 6 kids. Redlove was Vi's very first friend. However, Vi only gets to see her best friend when visiting Ponyville. But when they are together, they're likely with the rest of the Mane 6 kids. Vi loves to hear the latest gossip that goes around in Ponyville

Vi has the tiniesthugest crush on Star Stem, Redlove's half-sister. Star only visits Ponyville on certain occasions, but that doesn't stop Vi from always scoping her out to know when. Redlove knows about Vi's crush, and often teases her about it. Vi's parents also know, and they try encouraging her to ask out Star.

Vi is pretty close with the other Mane 6 kids. After Redlove, Gentil Cœur, and Palest Cosmos, they're her best friends. Secretly, she wishes she become better friends with all of them. That is expected of her, after all.

Special:

    Vi loves to sing. The trio used to be in a band, Drifting Flows, but disbanded after certain ponies started attending their performances. Vi only likes to sing by herself, and she can sing very well.

    She hates flying. Whenever she's in the air, she freaks out. Luckily, she's nearly perfected teleportation and doesn't have to worry about that much.
 
    She often wears flower crowns made by Floret. Half the time, the flowers are possessed by some harmless creature. This leads her to wear flower crowns made by Rosie instead.

    Vi doesn't like being treated differently because she's a princess. When ponies address her formally, she tells them not to. This makes Vi appear as a more laid-back princess.
